Scientists at CMFRI have discovered a new deep-sea fish species, 'Cyttopsis indica', in the Arabian Sea off Kerala. Found at depths of 350–500 metres, the Indian dory was confirmed through DNA analysis. The discovery adds to India's marine biodiversity and highlights the rich, unexplored life in the country's deep-sea waters.
