Opposition Writes To CJI Seeking Suspension Of SIR

23 Opposition leaders, including Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, wrote to the CJI seeking suspension of the voter verification system. They alleged manipulation of the electoral process through the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), calling it exclusionary and politically motivated, and claiming it has disenfranchised lakhs of genuine voters.
