Over 2.5 Lakh Aadhaar Email Updates In Two Days

The govt said over 2.5 lakh residents updated Aadhaar email IDs within 2 days of launching the new Aadhaar App feature. UIDAI allows updates without visiting centres, free for 6 months. The initiative enhances accessibility, transparency and security, enabling real-time alerts, while mobile and address updates have also seen strong adoption across the country.
