Karnataka HC Stays Aland Riot Case Withdrawal Order

The Karnataka High Court today stayed the state government's decision to withdraw 52 criminal cases, including 7 linked to the 2022 Aland riots, citing procedural lapses under Section 321 CrPC. The interim order followed a plea by Girish Bharadwaj. Minister Priyank Kharge said the government would review the ruling and bring back a revised proposal if needed.
