MLC Kiran Sarnaik Joins Shinde-Led Shiv Sena

Independent MLC Kiran Sarnaik from the Amravati Teachers constituency has joined the ruling Shiv Sena led by Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde. Shinde said Sarnaik had worked with him on several public issues for years and has now become an associate member of the party. The key development coincided with Shiv Sena (UBT) MLC Sachin Ahir's unopposed polls.
