Director RJ Balaji has confirmed that 'Karuppu 2' will not happen anytime soon. Although 'Karuppu' became Suriya’s biggest hit by earning over ₹300 crore worldwide, Balaji said the sequel should happen naturally. Since the story revolves around God and politics, he wants to wait and observe the new government's developments before taking the project forward.
