Centre Lifts Petrol, Diesel Sale Restrictions From July 1

The Indian government will lift restrictions on petrol and diesel sales from July 1. The temporary measures, including barring commercial buyers from retail outlets and capping daily diesel purchases, were imposed earlier this month to prevent local shortages amid West Asian supply disruptions. The withdrawal follows a government order issued on Monday.
