No Automatic Maintenance For Earning Wife: HC

The Karnataka High Court ruled that a financially independent wife is not automatically entitled to maintenance. It cancelled a trial court order directing a husband to pay Rs 20,000 monthly, saying courts must consider both spouses' incomes. The court added that maintenance can be sought later if circumstances change.
