Bengal To Table Anti-Social Activities Bill Next Week

The West Bengal govt will introduce the Public Safety and Control of Anti-Social Activities Bill, 2026, on Monday to strengthen public order and security. The proposed law aims to curb organised anti-social activities by granting authorities enhanced preventive powers to act against habitual offenders and those posing potential threats to peace across the state.
