Who Is Mahesh Dixit, The New Intelligence Bureau Chief?

Mahesh Dixit, a 1993-batch IPS officer from AP cadre, has been appointed to head the Intelligence Bureau. A doctor turned IPS, he currently serves as IB's Special Director. With extensive experience in counter-terrorism, the Northeast, Ladakh, anti-Naxal operations and internal security, Dixit has played a vital role in handling teh India's intelligence.
