India-US Trade Deal Near Finalisation: Piyush Goyal

Minister Piyush Goyal said the India-US trade deal is "very close" but will only come into force if India secures a competitive tariff advantage over rival countries. Speaking in London, he said talks with US officials are ongoing and stressed that finalisation depends on ensuring better market access and favourable tariff positioning for India in global trade.
