Salman Khan's Period Action: Another Director To Helm?

Salman Khan's much-hyped period action film may be directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, not Farhan Akhtar. Impressed by the script, Salman will portray a historic figure. Farhan is likely to produce it. Mehra's earlier Karna with Suriya was shelved. The film is expected to begin shooting in summer 2027 after Salman completes ongoing projects.
