Sebi Proposes Direct Trading Access For Retail Investors

Sebi has proposed extending Direct Market Access to retail investors, currently available only to institutional clients. DMA allows orders to be placed directly into exchange trading systems. The move aims to improve flexibility, with brokers maintaining risk controls. Sebi also proposed changes for commodity derivatives and stronger cybersecurity measures.
