Telangana Raises Concerns Over VB-G RAM G Act

A Telangana Cabinet sub-committee raised concerns over the VB-G RAM G Act, which will replace MGNREGA from July 1. The panel said the new law could reduce states’ powers, increase financial burdens and affect rural livelihoods. It plans to suggest amendments and urge the Centre to restore the MGNREGA framework.
