Newly introduced Odisha school textbooks have come under scrutiny after authorities found 1,678 factual, spelling, and contextual errors, including describing Isaac Newton as a pilot. The state government has ordered a probe and formed a committee to investigate lapses in content review and textbook preparation for the 2026-27 academic session.
