The Telangana govt has issued a statewide alert after the Meteorological Department's forecast of heavy rainfall beginning today, June 19. TG Disaster Management Minister Ponguleti instructed officials to implement all necessary steps to safeguard lives and property. The Southwest Monsoon is also expected to cover the entire state within three to four days.
