BMC Imposes Strict Water Restrictions Amid Delayed Monsoon

Mumbai is facing a water shortage as reservoir levels have dropped to just 10.35 per cent due to delayed monsoon rains. From June 17, the BMC will stop water supply to swimming pools and construction sites and cut supply to commercial users. Authorities have urged people and institutions to save water until rainfall improves the situation.
