TMC Leader Soumitra Banerjee Attacked With Eggs In Bengal

TMC leader Soumitra Banerjee was attacked with eggs and called a "thief" by a crowd while being taken to court in West Bengal after his arrest following a BJP complaint. Police quickly brought the situation under control and escorted him safely. The incident came a day after senior TMC leader Kunal Ghosh was also targeted with eggs near Mamata Banerjee's residence.
