TG Records India's Highest Kidney Disease Death Rate

Telangana has recorded the highest death rate from chronic kidney disease (CKD) in India, with 19.84 deaths per lakh people in 2023, according to a study. The state reported 241.57 new cases per lakh population. Doctors say diabetes and high blood pressure are the main causes, with NIMS treating 500-600 new patients every month.
