North Western Railway Gets Major Power Upgrade

Indian Railways has awarded a ₹158 crore contract to upgrade the electric traction system on sections of the North Western Railway. The project will modernise the existing power infrastructure, improve train operations, and support higher passenger and freight traffic. The upgrade is expected to boost efficiency and strengthen rail network capacity.
