B-52 Remains A Key Asset In US Air Force Fleet

The Boeing B-52 Stratofortress, introduced in 1955, remains one of the world's longest-serving aircraft. Designed to carry both conventional and nuclear weapons, it has supported US military operations from Vietnam to the Middle East. Operated by a five-member crew, the bomber can travel over 14,000 kms without refuelling, carry up to 32 tonnes of weapons.
