Transport Officials Crack Down On Unsafe School Buses

The Transport Dept inspected more than 1,000 school buses across the State on the first day of schools reopening. Cases were booked against over 150 buses for safety and transport violations, and 35 buses without valid fitness certificates were seized. Officials checked documents, driver eligibility and safety equipment to ensure secure transport for students.
