Man Kills Daughter Inside Police Station For Marrying Dalit

In Uttar Pradesh’s Banda district, a 55-year-old father allegedly stabbed his 19-year-old daughter to death inside a police station during a counselling session. The woman had married a Dalit neighbour against family wishes. The couple was brought to the station after eloping. The accused father has been arrested.
