BCCI Sends Clear Message On Foreign Players Leaving IPL

The BCCI has clarified that IPL franchises, not the board, are responsible for managing foreign players’ availability. While a two-year ban remains for overseas recruits who withdraw without valid injury reasons, player participation issues must be resolved directly with franchises. The board is also considering a modest auction purse increase  for IPL 2028.
