Delhi Electricity Bills Set To Rise From July

Electricity bills in Delhi will increase from July after regulators approved a higher power purchase surcharge. Consumers in BSES Yamuna and BSES Rajdhani areas may see bills rise by 5.7% and 3.4%, respectively. The hike is due to higher electricity procurement costs. Free power benefits for eligible households will remain unchanged.
