SC Dismisses Meenakshi's Plea On RS Nomination Dispute

The Supreme Court dismissed a petition filed by Congress leader Meenakshi Natarajan challenging the rejection of her Rajya Sabha nomination. A bench of Justices PK Mishra and AS Chandurkar ruled that the plea was not maintainable and advised her to seek relief from the ECI. Advocate Singhvi argued that requirements apply only to cases carrying 2-year jail.
