SC Gives Financial Recognition For Homemakers 

The Supreme Court has ruled that homemakers should be recognised as nation builders and fixed ₹30,000 monthly as notional income for compensation in motor accident cases. This aims to ensure fair financial valuation of homemakers’ contributions when calculating damages for loss or injury, strengthening legal recognition of unpaid domestic work.
