Fresh Blow To TMC As MP Prakash Chik Baraik Resigns

In another setback for the Trinamool Congress, MP Prakash Chik Baraik resigned as a Rajya Sabha member today. He become the third party MP to step down after Sukhendu Sekhar Roy and Sushmita Dev. Baraik is expected to formally submit his resignation to RS Chairman Radhakrishnan. Following his exit, TMC's strength in Upper House is set to drop to 10 members.
