The death toll in the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant explosion has risen to nine after another worker, Pydiraju, succumbed to severe burn injuries today. The June 8 blast at Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd had initially killed eight workers and injured six others. Officials confirmed the body was shifted to King George Hospital for post-mortem in the port city.
