Gig Workers Slam Airport Overstay Charges Policy

The Telangana Gig and Platform Workers’ Union opposed Hyderabad Airport’s new policy that charges drivers for staying over eight minutes at drop-off points. The union said traffic, luggage delays and passenger assistance often cause hold-ups. It demanded more free time and lower penalties, warning of protests and a possible boycott of airport trips.
