Karnataka Plans Panchayat Elections By Year-End

Karnataka Minister Eshwar Khandre said panchayat elections will be held across the state by the end of 2026. Delimitation and reservation work will finish within eight weeks before the election process begins. He also announced plans to fill 4,000 vacant Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department posts through a transparent recruitment process.
