Ever since "Jailer 2" was announced, cameo rumours featuring Balakrishna, Vijay Sethupathi, Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan have fueled massive buzz but also confusion. The speculation has now cooled after reports claimed the planned cameo has been dropped. Director Nelson reportedly felt the sequel does not require another star appearance in the film.
