In Mizoram’s Baktawng village lives what is recognised as the world’s largest family, that of the late Ziona Chana. He had 39 wives, 94 children, 14 daughters-in-law, and over 33 grandchildren. At its peak, nearly 200 family members lived together in a massive 100-room house, functioning like a self-sustaining community.
