BCCI Finalises Kohli Replacement For Afghanistan Match

Virat Kohli has been ruled out of the Afghanistan ODI series due to a hamstring injury sustained in the IPL 2026 final. BCCI Chief selector Ajit Agarkar named Yashasvi Jaiswal as his replacement. Kohli is expected to be sidelined for around 6 weeks and may also miss the England ODIs, focusing on recovery and rehabilitation at the Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.
