India has launched E85 fuel (85% ethanol blend) on World Environment Day. Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri clarified that E85 is only for flex-fuel vehicles (FFVs) and will not affect regular E20 or petrol cars. Priced at ₹82.12/litre in Delhi (₹20 cheaper), E85 pumps will be clearly marked to avoid misuse.
