BRS Leaders Detained Ahead Of CM Revanth Reddy’s Palamuru Tour

Several Bharat Rashtra Samithi leaders were placed under house arrest and preventive detention in Nagarkurnool district ahead of CM Revanth Reddy’s visit to Palamuru on June 5, 2026. The move came amid protests over delays in the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme. Protesters burnt an effigy of the CM, accusing the Congress govt of undemocratic tactics.
